Question: What are the requirements to run the Abyssal Tools?

Answer: You may download the Non-Commercial Use Binary Tools Evaluation to see if your system is capable of properly running the tools. Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 , 2008, 2010 or 2010 Express is required for compiling.

Question: What type of games can be built using the tools?

Answer: Anything from complex Role Playing Games to Real Time Strategy Games and MMORPG's or Massively Mutliplayer Games.

Question: Can you build my game for me?

Answer: Yes, if we are contracted to do so. Please be sure that you are properly funded before contacting us for game development. We do not take on game development contracts unless the poject has a budget of at least $200,000 USD for simple games and at least 1 Million USD for advanced game development such as for MMORPG's or Massively Multiplayer Games.

Question: Does networking come with the Engine?

Answer: Networking is included in the Multiplayer licenses.

Question: What are "seats"?

Answer: One seat allows you to install a copy of the Abyssal Binary tools onto your work station. Further seats or licenses need to be purchased for each additional workstation.

Question: I am a beginner, can I still use Abyssal tools?

Answer: We recommend trying the 30 day tools trial to see if you possess the capabilities to work with the tools properly.

Question: What is the difference between Binary and Source licensing?

Answer: Binary does not include source code. A source code license allows you to extend or modify the source code.

Question: Is support included with my purchase?

Answer: General Q&A support is available via email. In-depth technical support or training can be purchased on a month to month basis.

Question: Do you provide custom development services?

Answer: We can provide game logic design, custom level design, engine programming , art development and website construction. Contact us for a free quote.

Question: Do the tools work on Vista?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Do the tools work on Mac?

Answer: No.

Answer: Once a tool has been locked or registered to a work station we do not issue refunds.
